Unfortunately, we do not offer bifocal lenses. Please keep in mind that we do offer progressives, they are multifocal lenses with three viewing areas: distance, intermediate and near vision. Unlike bifocals, there is no visible line between each viewing area.
In order to determine your prescription you will need to visit an optometrist or ophthalmologist who can provide you with all the information that we will need to manufacture your lenses.
Yes we can make progressive readers, once you place an order please let us know and we will make sure we process your request.
We use our own brand of lenses. All our lenses include superhydrophobic, anti-reflective, and scratch-resistant treatments and offer 100% UV protection.
Progressive lenses provide a transition from near, intermediate, and far vision prescription. As compared to bifocal lenses, progressives provide a wider zone of clear vision to make activities like computer use and reading easier for the wearer.
We offer readers, single vision and progressive lenses.
Absolutely, sunglasses can be made as progressives.
We definitely can but keep in mind that this is under your own discretion.
Please send us your prescription via email at support@hipoptical.com.
We require a PD to create the most accurate reading glasses possible. This is what makes our reading glasses more comfortable than the ones sold in a drugstore. However if you prefer we can still proceed and make your glasses without your PD. Please let us know how would you like to proceed.

Yes, you can get our glasses with a single vision or progressive prescription as well as readers. We make our reader lenses using your PD (pupillary distance) to create the most accurate reading glasses possible. This is what makes our reading glasses more comfortable than the ones sold in a drugstore.
Single vision glasses are designed to help people who require correction of farsightedness, nearsightedness, or astigmatism. These eyeglasses have just a single optical prescription correction and they distribute focus evenly over the entire surface area of the lens.
Normally when a prescription is given to you by a doctor they specify what type of prescription you need. If you need a single vision pair of glasses the doctor would write either distance or near. If the lenses that the doctor prescribed are progressive, it would say it on the prescription.
A progressive is a trifocal lens. Progressive lenses are a multifocal lenses with three viewing areas: distance, intermediate and near vision. The good part about progressive lenses is that there is no visible line between each viewing area.
PD (Pupillary Distance) is the distance between the centre of each pupil. It is an essential measurement to manufacture prescription glasses as it allow us to determine where to place the centre of your vision on your new lenses.
Yes, our lab is capable of manufacturing progressive readers. This means that the lens will have no power at the top of the lens and it will have the reading power at the bottom.
Yes, we can do progressive prescriptions in almost all of our frames with the exception of our Bizan frame. As is too skinny, unfortunately it is not compatible with progressive prescriptions.
